About Us
DYNAMIX VOLLEYBALL CLUB, formerly known as Club Woodland, is an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit, organization (tax ID #68-0464062) run by a volunteer board which oversees a paid, experienced coaching staff and technical director. For the 2008 season, we have revitalized our club with new coaches, new club colors, and a completely new identity in the volleyball community.
DYNAMIX VOLLEYBALL CLUB's primary goals are to help girls develop the skills necessary to compete at the highest level; to provide them with a strong understanding of the game; to help them discover success by teaching them how to set goals, overcome challenges, sharpen their mental focus, achieve physical fitness, understand their role on their team, and to foster their leadership skills both on and off the volleyball court.
Dynamix Volleyball Club EXPECTATIONS are simple- with a caring, qualified coaching staff, strong teamwork, and a positive attitude, Dynamix is all about developing skilled players. We fully expect that all the Dynamix volleyball players will show dramatic improvement over the course of our club season.
Dynamix Volleyball Club COACHES are enthusiastic and experienced, and will not only impress players and parents as enthusiastic teachers and positive role models both on and off the court, but will also instill good sportsmanship, self-discipline, a spirit of cooperation and self-confidence in our Dynamix athletes.
Dynamix Volleyball Club TEAMS will be structured with 10-12 players per team, with most teams having both a head and assistant coach. Although there is not such thing as equal playing time, it is important to remember that our main goal is to help each player improve her skills through focused training and competition. Each athlete will play an important role on her team.
